About the Club
Of the 1216 alumni in Japan, about 700 graduates belong to the HBS Club of Japan. The club hosts various gatherings with guest speakers, such as the Annual Business Statesman/woman Award Dinner and the Entrepreneur of the Year Award Dinner. The Club participates in occasional sporting activities such as tennis and golf, and distributes a newsletter to the club members regularly. The Club also holds a variety of speaker events directly aimed toward the younger alumni memebers.

The Club in the Community

HBS alumni, in their personal and professional lives, are actively engaged with the social sector in various ways throughout their careers -- from full-time roles within the non-profit sector to nonprofit board service to the pursuit of social entrepreneurship to leadership positions with the arena of corporate responsibility. HBS alumni also stay connected through the HBS Social Enterprise Alumni Association (SEAA) -- the School's largest non-geographical alumni Club with more than 800 members representing every class from 1950 onwards. The School's Social Enterprise Initiative (SEAA) takes an integrated approach to social enterprise-related teaching, research, and activities to support current and emerging leaders in all sectors apply management skill to create social value.
