About the Club
The Harvard Business School Alumni Association of Israel (HBSAAI) was founded in 1994 and is based in Tel Aviv. The Association serves HBS alumni interested in Israel and includes over 150 alumni residing in the country. Our vision is to be a community of business leaders that is committed to upholding the highest ethical standards, to be a catalyst for constructive changes in society, and to relentlessly support the ideas of private enterprise, privatization and deregulation. We are also committed to leading Israeli competitiveness in world markets, to position HBS as the world leading business school in general management in Israel, to attract the most talented individuals to HBS, to encourage life long learning, to act in a socially responsible manner...in short - to be a community of role models

Goals:
1. To further deepen the ties between the Israeli HBS alumni and HBS faculty, staff, other alumni clubs, international HBS alumni with an interest in Israel, and current students.
2. To create and strengthen the ties among members of the alumni network of HBS residing and/or conducting business in Israel and the region.
3. To expose its membership to new business trends as well as cutting edge business leaders and entrepreneurs.
4. To mentor qualified applicants through the application process and beyond.

The Club in the Community

The Jarvis Doctorow (MBA 1953) Fund Supporting Activities with Israel was established through the generosity of Jarvis Doctorow, MBA 1953 and his wife, Constance. It is Mr. and Mrs. Doctorow's hope that this fund will enhance the School's global perspective, scope and impact.
The Fellowship Fund for Students from Israel at Harvard Business School was established in 2005 through the generosity of Sir Ronald M. Cohen, MBA 1969 and Lady Cohen. It is Sir Ronald and Lady Cohen's hope that this fund will make the transforming educational experience of HBS accessible to the broadest range of talented students from Israel, who without financial aid would be unable to attend HBS.
The Hyman J. Shaber Fellowship was established in 1973 through the estate of Hyman J. Shaber. This fund provides assistance to deserving Israelis with demonstrated financial need who are graduates of the following universities: Hebrew University, Jerusalem; Tel Aviv University, Tel Aviv; University of Haifa, Haifa; Ben Gurion of the Negev, Beersheba; and The Technion (Israeli Institute of Technology), Haifa.
